1. Who is responsible

HANBOO SOLUTION Co., Ltd., 36 Yuwolgongdan-gil, Wolhang-myeon, Seongju-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Republic of Korea (“HANBOO”, “we”) is the controller of personal data processed through this website.

2. What we collect

• Email correspondence: whatever you include when you write to us — typically your company, country, name, work email, your message and any file you attach (for example a drawing or target specification).
• Technical data: our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time of request) for security and fault diagnosis.

We do not collect special categories of data, and we ask you not to include any in your message.

3. Why we process it and on what basis

• To answer your inquiry, prepare quotations and carry out pre-contractual steps you request — because this is necessary to take the pre-contractual steps you request and, where applicable, to perform a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b); Korean Personal Information Protection Act Art. 15).
• To keep the website secure and available — on the basis of our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or marketing profiling, and we do not sell personal data.

4. How long we keep it

Inquiry data is kept for three years after the inquiry is closed unless a longer period is required by law (for example for commercial records). Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for a short, fixed period. After that, data is deleted or irreversibly anonymized.

5. Who receives it

• Our sales and engineering staff who handle your inquiry.
• Service providers acting on our instructions: the website hosting provider and our email service provider. They process data only for these purposes and under contract.
• Authorities, where the law requires disclosure.

We are based in the Republic of Korea. If you write to us from another country, your data is transferred to and processed in Korea, which the European Commission recognizes as providing adequate protection (adequacy decision of 2021).

6. Cookies and embedded maps

This website currently uses no tracking or analytics cookies. If we add web analytics in the future, this notice will be updated and you will be asked for consent where required.

The map on our Contact page is loaded from Google Maps only after you press “Load map”. At that moment your browser connects to Google LLC, which receives your IP address and browser data and may set its own cookies under Google’s privacy policy. Until you press the button, no data is sent to Google.

7. Your rights

You may ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive a copy in a portable format, or to withdraw a consent you have given (without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal). Residents of the EU/UK may also lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority; residents of California may exercise the rights provided by the CCPA/CPRA. 8. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS), stored in access-controlled systems and available only to staff who need it to handle your inquiry.
